Pre treatment of termites in houses is the key to preventing and controlling termites, and this work should be carried out before the construction, renovation, expansion, or decoration of the house begins.
1. Prevention of Termites in Newly Built Houses
① On site handling before construction. Mainly to cut off the termite food left on the site, indirectly eliminating termites and reducing the possibility of termite survival.
② Prevention and treatment of termites on wall foundations, floors, and soil. If mosquito infestations are found in newly constructed houses, thorough treatment must be carried out, including the use of physical methods and chemical drugs to kill termites inside the foundation, leaving no hidden dangers.
③ Pre treatment of wooden components. The purpose of handling wooden components is to cut off the termite's water supply line, avoid direct termite damage, and extend the service life of wooden components. The pretreatment of wooden components can be carried out by applying termite killing drugs, soaking, etc., or by high-temperature treatment above 60 ℃.
2. Prevention of Termites in Decorative Materials
When decorating a home, it is necessary to pre treat the home decoration materials to avoid bringing termites into the interior. The pre-treatment methods for home decoration materials are basically the same as those for wooden components.
3. Keep indoor and outdoor clean
Remove clutter, arrange indoor items in an orderly manner, and leave no waste that can attract termites, especially wooden waste, paper, worn-out clothing, etc.
